More
than with any other technique, watercolor ingredients must be of the
finest quality. The purest and lightest arabic gum, chemically pure glycerin, honey made from particular flowers and chemically
pure water. Any filler must be prohibited and an exact dosage
of each ingredient must be done. To achieve transparency
and working abilities of course the strongest pigments must
be selected.
Grinding
Also more than in any other techniques, the quality of the grinding is very important.
Our pigments are ground slowly to avoid harmful overheating, on stone mills to avoid iron pollution, several times to achieve the right particule size and to guarantee the working abilities.
Filling
tubes and pans
To achieve the best properties of pan colors, liquid watercolor paste is poured in the pans three times to compensate for evaporation.
